In this short essay I’m addressing Christians, predominantly, particularly Christian leaders and particularly those who are leaders in the Christian community, such as principals of Christian schools, administrators of Christian hospitals, and those who lead Christian institutions as well as churches.
There is a panic at the moment , among Christian leaders in Australia, because the government is trying to pass legislation that would not allow Christian organisations to employ Christian staff, in preference to people who do not share a Christian faith, but would force Christian institutions to employ (say) gay or lesbian people who are opposed to the ethos of the school or charity.
The great danger is not that we might lose our freedoms, or that we might suffer government interference, or that we might we lose the right to choose our staff in Christian schools, or that the government might tell us we must teach critical race theory or homosexuality if we don’t want to lose our funding, or even that we might lose our buildings and our facilities (which has already happened, by the way, in the Australian Capital Territory, where a Catholic hospital has been taken over by the ACT government; the reason for the takeover is quite clear: a government report regarding abortion and reproductive choice described Calvary Hospital as “problematic … due to an overriding religious ethos”.)
The great danger is not what happens to us as Christians, or what happens to our Christian institutions; the great danger is not that we might suffer persecution or lose our freedoms: the great danger is that we will respond with a lack of integrity and bravery when such bad things are happening.
The great danger is that we will respond to tyranny and bullying by kowtowing to abuse, by not speaking up against tyrants, with cowardice, cooperating and collaborating with tyrants and obeying unjust laws.
Does this all sound familiar?
Of course it does. This has already happened in the past four years. Christian leaders have behaved in this cowardly way already.
This is going to sound very harsh, but Calvary hospital deserved to be taken over.
They deserved to be lose their ministry, because Catholic Health not only collaborated with the government when the State and Federal governments colluded in breaking the Nuremberg code by coercing the Australian populace into taking experimental medications, like the Astra Zeneca vaccine, which has now been withdrawn, and the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines, which are even more outrageous experimental intrusions on the human body and even more harmful, probably (it takes twelve years to approve an experimental medication but these are not just pills with chemical actions they are gene therapies for God’s sake, and the TGA approval process was slipshod and cravenly pro-Pharma in the extreme), but at the time Catholic Health in the ACT basically begged the government to mandate the injections on their staff.
They did not listen to the minority of people at the time who did not wish to be injected, or to the doctors and nurses who were telling them to be careful, or even the immunologists like Nicolai Petrovsky who made his own vaccine, who criticised the experimental vaccines. They did not even exercise the basic self-examination that might be required, at such a significant time, asking oneself, is this in accordance with human rights? Is this loving my neighbour? I suspect many took the vaccines without even praying beforehand, Lord is this the right thing to do?
At the time, yes, it seemed to many that those who resisted compulsory vaccination were selfish, they didn’t want to protect Grandma, etc etc, but in retrospect, these people were the wise ones: they tried to warn everybody else, but no one was listening.
And who among the church people was praying for the unvaccinated at the time? Did I hear one prayer in church, for all the unvaccinated labourers and firemen and police and nurses and Doctors who lost their jobs, did I hear one prayer for the principled doctors and nurses who were fired by the hospitals and health clinics and deregistered by AHPRA because they refused to recommend the experimental injections to pregnant women or gave helpful medications that were banned, such as ivermectin, that could heal Covid in days instead of weeks?
So we all already knew that the ACT government, whose ideology said, "jab, jab, jab” also has an ideology that says, “abort, abort, abort,” and “euthanise, euthanise, euthanise”.
You fools: you thought they would stop at the jab, but all the time right under your nose they were putting the unvaccinated onto end of life care in the hospitals: they were filling them full of diazepam, precedex, lorazepam, morphine, in other words, they were injecting them with relaxant cocktails that are deadly to those with respiratory diseases; in other words, they were already euthanising those whom they deemed ideologically unfit to live. Do you think this was just because the Doctors and Nurses were obeying the rules? I am sure many of these people — the cowardly, self-righteous, compliant ones who took the vaccine and told others to take it, for the courageous ones had all been fired —I am sure that many of them felt satisfied and a kind of righteous pleasure that they were putting out the light of these unclean unvaccinated people permanently, for whom they felt sorry at the same time as they were killing them.
Do you not realise that these cowards will not stop until they have euthanised every mentally ill person, every old person who is a ‘burden’ on health care, every useless person (don’t be deceived: the useless ones in their eyes are not those who do not work and who subsist on the dole, but those who do not toe the government line and bow to all the idols, LGBTI propaganda, abortion, wokeness, intersectionality, that the government tells us to bow down to), and they will not rest until they have also aborted all their unborn children and sterilised them too, and do you think they will stop there?
These people will not stop until they have euthanised every Christian in this country. To these people, who are being lost, our cherished beliefs are poisonous, outdated, life-denying (this accusation from those who wish to euthanise and abort indiscriminately) to them we who are Christians smell bad, we bring the smell of death to them; to those who are being saved, we bring the sweet savour of life, of our Lord Jesus, but to those who live by the party line of today we are fundamentalist bigots and racists.
And when you should have resisted, you fools, you went along with it all.
You fired your staff when you should have found ways around the laws and the rules and suffered the fines and persecution that might have resulted. You should have lied to Pharaoh like Puah and Shiphrah, you fools! You should have kept the paver in his job, who was paving the driveways of the houses you were building, and you should have paid him cash (for God’s sake you hypocrite, you probably pay cash at every possible opportunity if it’s going to save you a few dollars of tax and give you a cheaper price in the bargain, but when this poor guy was depending on you for his living you said, “look I’ll keep the job for you, when all this is over you can do it, but my business can’t afford a $200,000 fine.” For God’s sake this was the guy’s livelihood, and when you were warned to reconcile with him you said, “It wasn’t like that.” )
To my knowledge not even one of these $200,000 fines were given in Western Australia.
Where are the theologians of today? In Western Australia, they were silent. The theologians of today must be even more insular and navel-gazing than the theologians in Germany in the 1930s. They did not see what was happening. They were concentrating on the finer points of the doctrine of salvation by faith, when what was demanded was integrity and a refusal to bow to the idols of our age.
For what use is a mouth that confesses Jesus is Lord, when that mouth is also confessing, “Listen to the Science?” or “The unvaccinated are killing Grandma” (a particularly stupid piece of propaganda; for if the vaccines worked, they would protect Grandma surely) or “Trust the government” (for doesn’t the Bible say “Put not your trust in Princes nor in the sons of men”?) or “safe and effective” or any of the other multitude of ridiculous government statements.
Or “the Vaccine will save you.”
Jesus saves.
The situation was completely obvious to those whose eyes were open: it was an experimental medication and people were coerced to take it. This was a massive breach of the Nuremberg Code. What foolish theologians are these, who did not know anything about the Holocaust or World War II Germany or medical ethics, and did not have the intelligence to apply this at the time?
The only hope now, you fools, is to repent. Repent of your compliance and your collaboration, you lackies. Repent and turn to the Lord and be healed, and perhaps then the church can be saved.
We seem to be in a lull, in a time of relaxation, a time when the storm-winds have reduced to a whisper and the typhoon rains have yielded to the sunshine and we can have a picnic on the grass and forget the whole Covid thing, and put the past behind us. Meanwhile the Australian government is preparing to sign the WHO treaty (not the English government apparently, or the New Zealand government, but ours still is) And the West Australian courts are taken, they belong to the enemy, for they just decided that coercing people to take a clearly experimental medication is not a breach of human rights. There is one of these people on the High Court of Australia, too, who think that the Nuremberg Code did not supercede the massive human rights violations of those Nineteenth Century European governments who imposed experiments on their populace, quite happily trampling down their medical rights.
For it looks like the Australian government wants to make us all prisoners of the WHO, beholden by a treaty to the next so-called pandemic mitigation efforts, which means they will haul you off in a prison van to a concentration camp and take your property (the legislation in Western Australia is already in place to do this) and force-vaccinate you with the next gene altering medication (gene-altering, you say, this sounds insane! but it is now known that the Pfizer vaccine had more than 500 times as much DNA contamination as was allowed, and not only that, it was in the lipid nanoparticles and went into the cells. This does not necessarily mean it was integrated into the genome, but it is already known it could integrate into liver cells.)
Where were the churches when they were needed?
Where were the Christian leaders?
They were silent.
You let them take away the ministries of the unvaccinated, without raising a peep in protest. Do you think God will now protect you from government interference and save your ministries, you hypocrites, if you don’t repent?
The great danger is not that we will be persecuted. The great danger is that we will love our comfort and our ministries so much that we will be collaborators, helping the persecutors against the persecuted.
Saint Patrick, a rebel against tyrants.
The mere fact that they hate us is a direct indication that we are more powerful than they are. And they know it. The question is, do we?
This was why I recently sent you a link to the letter from the Birmingham Jail. Above all, the late Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. - was a passionate believer in Christianity, and its inclusive message of redemption and salvation. He did his best to model true Christian love for his enemies and persecutors.
I'm not positive what passes for "Critical Race Theory", these days... When I was a kid we just called it an honest perspective on history. Surely we can now appreciate, that the evils done in the name of Papal Bulls on "Discovery" - were hardly reflecting the message of G-d. Some of the stuff in the Old Testament - does appear to be a misinterpretation of the good news... And frankly, some of the letters of Paul can reflect a narrow view. Thomas Jefferson has a version of the Bible, that reflects only the words of Jesus, directly. It's all stuff to think about. The core message of nearly every faith, is the Golden Rule. Yet somehow, all these allegedly pious people, rarely seem to reflect that, in daily their lives or in sermons.
There's many different takes on Christianity. One that I appreciate is Liberation theology. It used to be that the Kings OWNED their people. It was David's unforgivable sin - "numbering" the Tribes of Israel, in his Kingdom. Within the context of the Commercial law and the Law Merchant - the things a sovereign names and numbers - he owns. But those were G-d's people - not David's. You can see this ethos spelled out explicitly, in the Code of Hammurabi. I don't think the idea was unique to his Kingdom.
The reality is that EVERYONE who isn't of their bloodlines and essential to their power structures - is expendable. Eugenics was probably a fairly antique idea, by the time it was founded organizationally, in the USA. The Nazis were fans - but so were the British. Aldous Huxley had an insider's view of the elite vision, through his brother. The people who follow along blindly - they want to reproduce and survive, so long as that's necessary... But not a moment longer. When their machines can build and repair themselves... Well, Pastor Neimoller's quote comes to mind...
