Rebekah Barnett’s excellent substack, Dystopian Down Under, has been covering this topic and her Substack is well worth subscribing to.
Gaslighting is when a person or organisation tells people that they are imagining abuse or maltreatment, and then when irrefutable evidence comes out that the victim was correct, the evidence is minimised or destroyed.
In the past two years, ABC has been gaslighting women about menstrual irregularities, and more recently Channel 9 has suppressed a public discussion about heart problems following vaccination which didn’t go as they planned.
Channel 9 Gaslighting about heart injuries.
On 11 January Nine News asked their Facebook followers if they had suffered any heart attacks and were concerned about the long term effects on their heart.
The page exploded with posts about vaccine injuries.
My daughter got Pericarditis after the second Pfizer She experienced an anaphylactic reaction to the first, but could not get an exemption, even after seeing a epidemiologist. Was told to have her second in hospital filled full of antihistamines with a crash cart nearby How disgusting is that !!! She had chest pain 4 days after that second shot Took a month to get a diagnosis and 2 emergency visits She now also has white spots on her brain and bad migraines.
and posts about the elephant in the room
Anyone noticed the influx of defibrillators being rolled out at places? I work in early childhood all the services are now fitted with them in the last couple of months I wonder why…
The page was gone 24 hours later. But when channel nine published a news story twenty four hours later about a new three in one vaccine, that page exploded with comments rebuking them for their deletion of the other page.
Despite all this, Channel 9 tacitly acknowledged the facts about vaccine injuries by cancelling the requirement for workers to be vaccinated, which had been in place since December 2021.

ABC Gaslighting about Menstrual Irregularities following vaccination.
In an article about medical gaslighting at the ABC (government funded Australian Broadcasting Commission) Rebekah Barnett lists the script the mainstream media have been following regarding side effects of the Covid vaccines in an article about ABC gaslighting in October of 2022:
DENIAL. It’s definitely not related to the vaccines.
GASLIGHTING 1.0. Experts say symptoms are caused by anxiety.
SUPPRESSION. Zero coverage of mounting anecdotal evidence of vaccine harm.
GASLIGHTING 2.0: ADMIT WITHOUT APOLOGY. New study shows the symptoms are related to the vaccine, but it’s rare and it’s no big deal.
The ABC partnered with RMIT on a “fact check” about the Coronavirus during 2021, and in April of 2021 they published a fact check concerning women’s menstrual irregularities as a result of the Coronavirus vaccine and shedding.
What is shameful about their supposed fact checks is that as new information has come to light they have not published it on the fact check page or corrected their misinformation, which actually makes these articles lies now. Not only that, the ABC subsequently deleted the comments of women who had experienced these problems from their instagram page.
Two very large cohort studies confirmed that Covid-19 vaccination affected women’s menstruation, Edelman et al with a US cohort of 3,959 individuals and Edelman et al with a global cohort of 19,622 participants, published in the British Medical Journal.
After the global study came out ABC published an article about it:
ABC’s instagram page exploded with women commenting about this in the first 24 hours following the release of this story, with comments such as:
Or more accurate headline "Hey millions of women we medically gaslit - turns out you were right about your own lived experiences"
I remember when women spoke about changes to their menstrual cycles at the time they were banned from social media, warned to not post misinformation and ridiculed for being "conspiracy theorists". Anyone else remember or have people fallen asleep again now we don't have anymore restrictions?
By late Sunday the ABC had deleted the instagram comments.
