Fact check: Transgenic Mice and Chimeric Viruses: the Horrors of Wuhan
Transgenic Mice and Chimeric Viruses: the Horrors of Wuhan
Long before Covid 19’s first human infection, which occurred in the residential district where the workers from Wuhan Institute of Virology were housed, the same Wuhan Lab run by scientist Zhengli Shi was experimenting on bat Coronaviruses, making chimeric viruses containing RNA from bat Coronaviruses and the spike protein from human viruses, to make them were more infectious and lethal for humans, and then infecting genetically modified mice that had been given human ACE2 receptors.
This research was not conducted simply by Chinese scientists, but included scientists from France, who were sent packing once they had helped the Chinese set up their lab, the CSIRO Australia, and the US, particularly Fauci’s NIH through Peter Daszak’s Eco Health Alliance.
Their research was so seriously dangerous that DARPA refused Peter Daszak’s research proposal for continuing the project in 2018.
Dr Ralph Baric, one of the Eco Health Alliance authors of a 2015 paper originating in the Wuhan lab, created a “humanised mouse model”, genetic mutant transgenic mice that have been given the human ACE2 receptor, using CRISPR gene sequencing to edit the DNA of the mice. In a research proposal from 2014, revealed in Fauci’s emails and documents released in response to a Buzzfeed FOI request, the following paragraph outlines the research they had been sharing with China.
This research was approved in 2014.
These humanised mice were being used in China for research into bat coronaviruses, reportedly, as recently as 2019, just before the advent of the pandemic. But it began far earlier.
A 2018 Wuhan study lists their previous work with humanized mice and bat viruses, which began in 2013:
Our previous work based on cellular and humanized mouse infection studies suggest that these viruses are less virulent than SARS-CoV (Ge et al. 2013; Menachery et al. 2016; Yang et al. 2016). Masked palm civets appeared to play a role as intermediate hosts of SARS-CoV in the 2002–2003 outbreak (Guan et al. 2003). However, considering that these individuals have a high chance of direct exposure to bat secretion in their villages, this study further supports the notion that some bat SARSr-CoVs are able to directly infect humans without intermediate hosts, as suggested by receptor entry and animal infection studies (Menachery et al. 2016).
Is the ACE2 compatibility circumstantial evidence this virus was made in the lab?
The original SARS virus actually bonded with the ACE2 receptors. However a 2013 study contains this small paragraph that indicates that way back then they had already been working with humanised mice and a chimeric virus, doing gain of function research replacing the RBD (Receptor Binding Domain protein) of a civet virus with the spike protein (S) from the original SARS protein, making the civet virus more infectious to humans, specifically targeting the ACE2 receptors:
Note the following sentence as well.
No wild Coronavirus of civet origin had been shown to use ACE2 at that stage.
MODERNA’S PATENTED CANCER GENE IS APPARENTLY IN THE SPIKE PROTEIN OF SARS COV2
Sars-Cov-2 virus has a genetic insert that is the exact reverse of Moderna patent 9,587,003 from 2018. The Moderna patent, for the sequence, CTCCTCGGCGGGCACGTAG, was found encoded in the spike protein, implying that it was purposely added to the Spike protein of the virus.
IRRESPONSIBLE RESEARCH
This kind of gain of function research is completely irresponsible.
Peter Daszak and Zheng-Li Shi are two of the authors in this study: EcoHealth Alliance, funded by NIH and the Wuhan Lab, in other words.
Theological Reflections: Will they get away with it?
These facts are undeniable; Fauci and many of the top scientists and bureaucrats in the Western World have a lot to answer for - they were funding gain of function research. One may ask the question, what hope is there for humanity when these people continue to hold their positions and continue in pride their outrageous pursuits, that are clearly crimes against humanity?
Gain of function research making existing animal viruses more infectious to humans is very foolish at the least; how can they be certain such a created illness will not escape the quarantine measures they have in place? And their quarantine measures were apparently not good at all.
At the very least these people are guilty of extreme carelessness, folly and hubris, and they should have taken a few lessons from the novels of Michael Crichton.
Can they get away with it?
Hope for a reckoning.
No. Not in the end. We must have faith that God is still in control.
Psalm 37:35-36 tells us the wicked man’s fate in the end, if he does not repent:
I have seen a wicked, ruthless man
flourishing like a well-rooted native tree,
yet he passed away and was no more;
though I searched, he could not be found.
The resurrection of Jesus is a historical fact (see my fact check of this)
But even if this could not proven, the word of God is able to convince us; I would encourage you to read the Bible and be open to God speaking to you through His word. There are good reasons not to give up hope.
Addendum: Hope for sinners like us
Addendum: As I think about this, I ask myself another question, who am I to point the finger at Fauci or anyone else? I am a sinner too. We are all sinners. We have all done wrong, and the inclination of our hearts is evil from youth upwards. Who knows - if I had walked in Anthony Fauci’s shoes, for instance, and grown up with his upbringing, and had the particular faults and temptations he has, how do I know I might not have ended up a much worse man than he is? Who can judge others? None of us. No human being except Jesus possesses a set of scales that can weigh a human heart.
But God is a very good God – if we turn to God, He will forgive us. He wants to forgive our sins. That is why He sent His Son, to die so that the world could be saved. That is the kind of God He is.
This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.
My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

Change log
5:20pm 3rd July 2022 fixed Zhengli Shi’s name
Corrected ‘bat’ to ‘civet’ in the following sentence:
…made from a civet virus with the spike protein (S) replaced with another spike protein more infectious to humans:
30 September 2022 - fixed the link on the 2013 study. (How did that go wrong? Very strange.) and filled out the conclusions a little, in the paragraph around Michael Crichton etc. And added the addendum: Hope for sinners like us.
