As someone who stood up for our medical rights to not be subject to ‘medical conscription’ (the way the Australian constitution states it) and lost six months of the ability to work in 2022 because of vaccine coercion specifically in Western Australia, and let me add that this was directly because of the NIH support for and FDA approval of Covid vaccines (this was because the Australian government’s TGA approval process was woefully inadequate, and in fact relied on the NIH and FDA opinions far too much. ) - I think I have earned a right to comment on this.
By the way, if I had not been coerced into taking the vaccine, I may well have taken it – I am grateful actually that I didn’t take it, I am grateful that I was coerced, ironically, because it led to me not taking it.
Despite Francis Collins’ sincere Christian faith, I am afraid he is defending the indefensible. He needs to repent and be more truthful with himself, even to a painful level.
I remember Trump’s press conference with Fauci where Trump was comically insisting they could get the vaccines ready in less than six months (could it be a couple of weeks?) and Fauci kept saying “six months at least” – it made me ask if this was a brilliant move of Trump’s perhaps in 4D chess move so he was not responsible if it went wrong or simply medical ignorance on Trump’s part.
But I knew at the time that it takes twelve years of medical trials to approve a new medication. Six months to a year is not long enough.
Everyone in my State of Western Australia and Country of Australia was coerced to take the vaccines, because of the FDA and NIH stance on this, because our government health bureaucracies simply followed slavishly the American example.
This was not right. Coercing people to take an experimental medical treatment is a very clear infringement of the Nuremberg Code.
Much that Francis Collins’ faith is very genuine, I believe he is wrong on these issues, and that he ought not to have collaborated with the vaccine coercion, and that perhaps he was duped by his friends in Big Pharma into thinking everything was hunky-dory when it was not.
In some senses I don’t blame him for this: but I wish that now he would look more carefully at both sides of the issue.
Francis Collins admitted that information they were using was out of date, incomplete
He claims that double blinded trials were used etc. The double blinded trials in the case of Pfizer were unblinded far too early., before the data was available, as Daily Clout analysis shows. Even the original rat biodistribution studies were ceased after a few days and the rats were killed, as the TGA FOI docs show.
As Francis Collins says, Moderna was ready for the pandemic suspiciously early - in one day in fact. This appears very, very suspicious actually, in light of everything we know now about a lab leak and the presence of Moderna sequences in the SARS-COV2 genome.
Peer reviewed journals were compromised politically and supporting the government narratives instead of providing a balanced coverage of both sides of the issue, particularly in the lab leak scenario and the vaccines. (Of course if they themselves believed the Big Pharma/government narrative, they would be more inclined to publish those articles that supported it: this is inevitable and shows the primacy of faith over facts in conscience-driven decision-making)
Natural immunity needed to be considered as important. “We didn’t talk about natural immunity as much as we should have”. Exactly. Anyone with natural immunity should have been exempt from vaccination.
There is a plethora of evidence that SARS-COV2 did not come from bats or animals, the evidence says it was a lab leak. My heart aches about this: as a Christian, Francis Collins is possibly caught between a rock and a hard place; he must support his friends (Tony Fauci, the source of the funding for the lab leak) or he must be honest with the public, but he cannot do both things.
SARS-COV2 asymptomatic spread actually seems to be b&lld*st. ( I know there was a recent study that showed this, but can’t find it right now)
Research was done in a hurry - the mRNA vaccines were experimental and still are.
The Gates funded and managed Together trials of Ivermectin - clearly rubbish. Ivermectin certainly looks very effective against Covid. There were alternatives other than expensive vaccines and Remdesvir, which is now shown to be completely ineffective.
Recent studies have shown that everyone who took the vaccines had heart damage.
Cell lines from aborted foetuses were used. This was a legitimate concern.
If you want to resuscitate public trust do not break the Nuremberg Code and do not break patient doctor confidentiality and do not break the Hippocratic oath.
Rand Paul who has asked some very pertinent questions in Congress is a Doctor.
Many medical people with proper credentials were and are increasingly suspicious of the Covid vaccines (Robert Malone, Tess Lawrie, Pierre Kory, Peter McCullough, Jessica Rose)
The FDA/Pfizer documents, the TGA documents in Australia, reveal what an unmitigated mess the approval process was.
mRNA vaccines WERE EXPERIMENTAL AND PEOPLE WERE COERCED TO TAKE THEM - THIS IS AN INFRINGEMENT OF THE NUREMBERG CODE.
Great Barrington Declaration: lockdowns etc. be stopped except for people over 65 - more harm than good - in retrospect they were right and Francis Collins essentially admits as much.
If the vaccines worked the lockdowns were unnecessary.
Re Masks, lockdowns; in the 1918 flu epidemic people made the choice to attend church, etc, there were not public rules. The Coercion was the problem.
mRNA vaccines should not have been given to children and should not still be being given to children, as they are still experimental.
I think Francis Collins is a political animal in practice, despite his faith, and must act politically because of his position.
CS Lewis himself warned against tyranny “for your own good,” specifically unwanted treatment (rather than “just desserts” for crimes) and this kind of coercion and control is what happened and unfortunately Francis Collins was one of those who supported medical tyranny, despite his clearly sincere, avowed faith.
“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.” C S Lewis
I think people would prefer to have died rather than give up their freedoms.
I think there would be more trust if people were actually allowed to make their own medical choices, and if doctors were allowed to practice their own judgement, even if people died, if their choices or decision to not get vaccinated led to this. (In fact it seems almost certain that the vaccines and the hospital medical protocols killed more people than the virus.)
Deep concern - how do we set aside the tribal divisions? Humility and honesty from the elites and those who were in charge instead of self-defensive self-justification and gas-lighting.
Humility before God in the first place.
Misinformation? There were many lies told from the public health perspective, particularly from the money-hungry big pharma companies. The Pfizer documents show this conclusively.
It became a political issue because of coercion and lies.
If people are truly free, then they need to be free to choose to not heed the ‘science’, to not take the ‘vaccine’, even to die for their choices, if that is the outcome. This is what medical freedom is.
FREEDOM IS MORE VALUABLE THAN LIFE FOR MANY PEOPLE.
I think the sound bite quoted by Bad Cattitude aptly summarizes what the video was about. Bringing people together cannot be done if truth is not respected and if people who did the wrong thing are not willing to take responsibility. Coercion was the main problem: quite frankly, many people would rather have risked dying from Covid and be allowed to take their own (experimental) medical treatments (Ivermectin plus zinc, hydroxychloroquine plus zinc, both of which had plenty of evidence in the context of the time eg hydroxychloroquine was used for MERS and SARS) than be forced (coerced) to take an experimental medical treatment (mRNA vaccines were still under EUA) and that was the basic problem.
One of the most frustrating things about the narrative during the coercion to mask and vaxx was that people were being told that those who didn't comply were killing others. This made it virtually impossible for the believers to accept any moral basis for non-compliance. If you didn't wear a mask and get the vaxx you didn't care about others and were willing to kill people just because you didn't want to give up a little freedom. It was infuriating.
I think that Francis Collins has more faith in the government that pays him than faith in any God. This is the man who headed the human genome team that LOST the race to sequence the human genome. In his own words, his team lost because of biases that they started out with rather than improper technique.
