Scott Morrison's final speech: Pontius Pilate telling the next leader of Judea not to wash his hands.
When Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but that instead an uproar was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd. “I am innocent of this man’s blood,” he said. “See to it yourselves!” Matthew 27:24
Scott Morrison’s final speech
It doesn’t make me happy to write this post. But I am saying something that has to be said.
The former Prime Minister of Australia, who was the leader of the country during the COVID debacle, Scott Morrison, made his final speech in Parliament yesterday, Tuesday 27 February 2024, slapping himself on the back and telling everyone in Parliament to be good Christians.
Unfortunately, it sounded a bit like Pontius Pilate telling his successor to make sure he doesn’t wash his hands of his responsibilities.
I’m afraid I feel very cynical about what he says near the end.
I leave this place appreciative and thankful, unburdened by offences and released of any of the bitterness that can so often haunt post-political lives. This is due to my faith in Jesus Christ, which gives me the faith to both forgive and be honest about my own failings and shortcomings.
Well, you were not honest about how you stood by and washed your hands while the totalitarian State leaders imposed the Nuremberg code infringing experimental injection mandates.
In fact, you lied about it publicly afterwards, claiming that nobody was forced into taking the jab. How is this even remotely giving glory to God? How is this even remotely Christian? How can a bold-faced lie be the fruits of the Spirit? How can you claim to be honest about your own shortcomings after you lied about this?
So many Christian people rejoiced that Australia had a Christian Prime Minister.
What a lost opportunity.
Pilate reportedly committed suicide, in the end, according to church historian Eusebius; despair can overwhelm a man.
Pray for Scott Morrison, fellow Christians, because when he really realises what he has done, he may well be vulnerable to despair, and God does not wish for any to be lost.

OOPS - critiqued a bit from an old speech by accident - removed it
Mark.... good point the hardest thing for me was to forgive Bill Gates Im still getting around to Scott Morrison. He will have to answer for every life minimum of 30,000 and counting who have died(ABS and AMPS Data) Also those permanently injured in the millions I predict and counting.
He will also have to account I hope in a court one day why he lied about the Doherty Report backing his goal for 80% Vaccination rate when 'Delta strain' was in Aus. Remember that? Where did that figure come form ...not the Doherty flawed report which used 'Alpha' numbers from the U.K as a base for its modelling.
I know where it came from ....have a guess? I have cited the IMF contracts to loan Aust the money. It had in B&W a requirement of '80% vaccination rate'. Says it all! How dare he use God's name in vain by acting so...Yep he'll have to pay all right...If not NOW I do pray for that,.....THEN! Gods just name demands it.
He will face the Lord and will have to account for his actions. I pity him. I also pray for him and for Trudolf and Dark Brandon and the rest. We're here to learn how to love and care about everyone, even the crappy leaders who are crushing our civil liberties. Remember, the first Christians were called to pray for Nero...
