Youtube offends against Australian right to political communication
Youtube removed the maiden speech of John Ruddick MLC, an Australian politician newly elected to the NSW Parliament.
I don’t know what the relationship big tech company Youtube actually has with Australian law, but constitutional law in Australia plainly allows political speech. In fact this kind of censorship is actually illegal in Australia. I wonder if Youtube knows this? Maybe Youtube should be subject to the same media regulations as TV companies.
