I’ve been praying for him for a number of years: I would encourage you to do the same for public figures. I do feel his interest in the new birth of baptism is genuine — he doesn’t seem to be doing this for publicity.
People would say, at one point, that the 33 tattooed upon his arm was a shout-out to the Scottish Rite... I don't know...is he a Mason?
But his explanation was that happened to be the year of Jesus age, when he died upon the cross. So I feel like he's always been on a path, of sorts.
